i How this calculator works

Industry pricing: many platforms bill from the moment a call starts dialling until it ends — including unanswered attempts. For example, if a call rings for ~30s and then hits voicemail (e.g. ~15s), you may be billed for that whole duration (dial + voicemail).

CommsChannel approach: we don’t start AI usage billing during dialling. The dialler runs first, then the AI agent is only bridged in once a human is detected. You’re charged primarily for connected (human) talk time, plus a small per-dial fee and (optional) per-voicemail fee — which can be significantly cheaper when most calls don’t connect.
